Mathematics Problem

Volcano eruption causing the population of 9 villages which are under the foot of the mountain to be secured. A gymnasium that is designated as a place of refuge. to facilitate the evacuation, the division ordered by the village. So, the gymnasium is divided into 9 parts. How many ways can the placement of nine villages in the ninth section of the building if the observed sequence?

Because the sequence, then the number of ways placements can be searched by permutation.
So, the answer is: 9x8x7x6x5x4x3x2x1 = 362,880 ways.

I think this paper is very meaningful.
I just know, that mathematics is not just see but also feel and hear.
If we compare this paper with reality, so different from its implementation.
Education in Indonesia, especially mathematics has a poor response from students, mathematics to be something scary, terrifying, and seem to be avoided. If the teachers know what students want, maybe this kind of thinking will soon disappear.
For you my friends, bearers of a noble task as mathematics educators, we should implement a proper system. Requires an approach and good communication between students and teachers, in order to create a conducive learning atmosphere.
Students need freedom which would build and hone his abilities. Let his thinking evolve, let him use his limbs for his development. Hopefully education in Indonesia has increased significantly.

Elegi Seorang Hamba Menggapai Ruang dan Waktu

This elegy tells us that each of human being learns everything contextually. They need to realize the space and time as good as possible. Their achievement depends on their attitude in using time and space. Someone must discipline in using time effectively and efficiently, if he doesn’t want to be person that gets loss. It is important to spending time by doing positive activity such as hard working, finishing assignment, etc. Avoiding inappropriate behaviour (such as lazy, delaying time, etc) is a must, because time is very valuable. Time that had passed can’t be back again.

If we relate it with psychological in Mathematics learning, we can look at one of the nature of students learn Mathematics according to Ebbutt and Straker is students learn Mathematics contextually. Contextual means that students learn Mathematics in the dimension of time and space. In this case, teacher must be able to make Mathematics learning condition become conducive, so students can enjoy the lesson and feel challenge with Mathematics. Take for example by using daily life approaching that can make students understand Mathematics lesson easier.

This paper explain our how to development human resource for make ready the international school basis. And I think teacher who have good innovation in education is very need in here for develop the critical thinking and creativity from the students. Beside of that we need cooperate from all of the element in society , so the revitalization in education can be done. And since that can be do, to get school who have internationally basis is very easy. hope the teachers in here can be professionally teacher so the student can growth their ability in all of subject especially in math, cause all this time many student still scared and hate with math.

REFLECTION ON THE TEACHING OF “THE MULTIPLICATION ALGORITM OF THE 3rd GRADE OF PRIMARY SCHOOL” THROUGH VTR

VTR merupakan singkatan dari Video Tape Recorder. VTR telah banyak dipergunakan oleh para pengajar di Jepang, sedangkan di Indonesia, VTR baru saja diperkenalkan dalam training dan mendapat penilaian yang bagus dari pengajar di Indonesia. VTR memberikan beberapa keuntungan bagi guru dalam menyampaikan rancangan pengajaran yakni sebagai berikut: a) kesimpulan singkat dengan penekanan pada permasalahan utama, b) bagian dari pelajaran dan kejadian utama di kelas, c) permasalahan-permasalah yang mungkin didiskusikan dan direfleksikan saat di kelas.
Lesson Plan berfungsi sebagai rencana pengajaran guru di kelas, sedangkan VTR berfungsi sebagai evaluator pelaksanaan Lesson Plan.
Tujuan umum yang ingin dicapai dari penggunaan Lesson Plan adalah siswa dapat menggunakan pengetahuan yang telah dimiliki untuk menyelesaikan masalah dan membuat hubungan dengan materi lain sehingga dapat menyelesaikan masalah pada pembelajaran berikutnya. Tujuan khususnya adalah siswa mampu melakukan perhitungan 2 digit number x 1 digit number dengan menggunakan pemahaman sebelumnya tentang perkalian.
Karakteristik dalam pembelajaran dari VTR adalah:
- Meminimalkan kerumitan interaksi antara siswa di kelas dengan guru
- Dapat mengetahui masalah yang muncul akibat berbagai aktivitas di kelas
- Korelasi negatif antara memfokuskan pada aspek tertentu dengan mengurangi isi dari berbagai pembelajaran.
- Permasalah antara menyesuaikan apa yang ada di teori dengan permasalahan yang nyata
- Masalah pemikiran matematis siswa berprestasi rendah
- Permasalahan eksplorasi intrinsik, ekstrinsik dan sistemik dari pemikiran yang sistematik
VTR mempermudah guru untuk melakukan observasi dan refleksi terhadap rancangan pengajaran (Lesson Plan) yang dilakukan di kelas.

Student’s competence who different make the teacher get difficulty in learning. The students who clever be forced have to wait the fact of havingfallen behind of other students who their ability more little for primary in mathematics learning. Target of pass and finishing of learning silaby make the teachers only relay on exposition method with giving the task for students. Finally, many students don’t like this mathematics learning.
In the research of “large scale survey” at Inggris country by Cocroft Report (1982:132), should the mathematics learning be able to give space for teacher to use learning method appropriate with the level of student’s competence and substancial of lesson so, students can recieve mathematics learning happily. Following the learning method: (1)exposition method by teacher; (2)Discuss method, between teacher and student or between student and student, (3)Problem solving, application, and investigation method, and (4) Based exercise of skill and principles.
In the mathematics learning, increasing interest of students and developing model tools will be more active and variation. The teacher have to be gave orientation to motivate stu-dents so they get happily with mathematics in the school. That orientation be related with ma-thematics truth and subject truth as well as implementation of it, that:
1. Mathematics is activity to research pattern and relation.
2. Mathematics is creativity which it need imagination, intuition, and innovation.
3. Mathematics is activity of problem solving
4. Mathematics is communication tool.
There is assumption which it can de use as reference so student potential can be de-veloped optimally, that is:
1. Student will study if they get motivation.
2. Student study with their method.
3. Student study stand alone and cooperation.
4. Student need the context and situation which different in their study.
Therefore, so that mathematics can be learned more interest, mathematics learning can be did by means of prepare stage, learning stage, and evaluation stage. (EbbutS dan Straker, A (1995))
